About the Opportunity:
We are excited to offer a unique chance for a seasoned Senior Android Developer to join our esteemed client based in Gloucestershire. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has at least 7 years of experience in Android app development and wants to further their skills in this field. With a focus on delivering top-notch quality, the successful candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced Android applications, incorporating map functionalities and collaborating closely with other teams.

Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of the development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing new features and technologies. The ability to create scalable and efficient software solutions will be paramount, as well as a strong understanding of modern architecture patterns and relevant frameworks. Working closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers, you will develop innovative and user-centric experiences for Android users. Experience with Agile project management methodologies and familiarity with testing best practices are expected. Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures seamless integration and alignment with business objectives. Although occasional office visits (1 day a week) are required, the primary focus remains on remote work and flexible arrangements.

Benefits:
This captivating role includes an attractive annual salary of up to £80k - 90k, complemented by a generous bonus structure (10% and a Christmas bonus). In addition, you can enjoy comprehensive benefits such as health and life insurance, 25 days' paid annual leave, and a valuable pension contribution. Most notably, the company requests SC clearance from the successful applicant, either obtained or held prior to application.
