About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MET Technician to join our dynamic team at Steer Automotive Group in Grantham. As an MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical, electrical, and trim components of various vehicle makes and models.
- Carry out all necessary mechanical and body work on allocated jobs.
- Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop.
- Carry out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
- Order replacement parts.
- Re-assemble the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
- Ensure all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the wider team regarding the status of repairs.
About You
We are looking for an experienced MET Technician with high attention to detail and the ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure. You will have significant experience from an accident repair background and be able to plan your workload efficiently and effectively.
