Job Title: Tax Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director to lead our tax strategy and compliance initiatives at a top UK accounting firm. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's tax planning and ensuring compliance with evolving tax regulations.

About the Role
  • Manage a team of tax accountants and oversee the strategic direction of the tax department.
  • Work closely with partners to manage a portfolio of corporate and personal clients in various tax areas.
  • Review and prepare corporation tax computations and workings.
  • Support advisory work with clients and advise on tax due diligence exercises.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients benefit from all business services.
  • Provide training and development for colleagues and team members.
  • Represent the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.

  • CTA qualified with further accountancy qualifications desirable.
