GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join our secondary school community in Sheffield.

We are looking for an individual with the ability to engage students in Religious Studies and deliver effective lessons across KS3 and KS4.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping students learn and achieve their full potential.

About the Role
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons in Religious Studies for KS3 and KS4.
  • Teach Geography at KS4, promoting students' understanding of the world around them.
  • Audit, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Create a positive learning environment and ensure students adhere to their assignments.
  • Offer students guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in a relevant subject, such as Religious Studies, Geography, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4.
  • Ability to teach Geography at KS4.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
