We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team at a well-established steel client based in Rotherham. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, strapping steel products, and making on-time deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving/operating Class 2 Vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Strapping Steel products
  • Making on time deliveries
  • Ensure vehicle is well presented
  • Comply with driving rules and regulations
  • Be prepared for various shift lengths
  • Ensure your load is strapped securely
  • Multi-drop deliveries

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Category C licence for a minimum of 6 months
  • Hold a valid UK CPC Card
  • Hold a valid UK Digital tachograph card
  • Have 6 months experience of driving category C vehicles
  • Experience of strapping loads with chains
  • Experience of using a flat bed
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No Major endorsement codes
  • Positive 'Can Do' attitude
  • Good communication skills
