Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our large culinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our Members and Guests. Your primary objective will be to provide culinary excellence, ensuring that we consistently meet and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the preparation and service of food, maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
  • Work on all sections of the kitchen, serving exceptional food in a luxury Members Club environment.
  • Utilize fresh produce with a seasonal changing menu, emphasizing local produce.
  • Supervise junior chefs and check all dishes before they are sent.
  • Be fully knowledgeable about all food outlet menus, particularly items within your section and their recipes and quantities.
  • Ensure correct stock control procedures are adhered to, including storage, rotation, and retention of stock.
  • Assist with the ordering of food items for the section.
  • Carry out on-the-job training for staff within your section, completing relevant training records.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve the profitability of the section.
  • Ensure the effective use of utilities (gas, electricity, and water) and equipment within the Kitchen.
  • Work in close liaison with all sections of the kitchen to ensure efficient service and maintain high levels of communication with colleagues and other staff.
  • Adhere to all statutory requirements regarding fire, health and safety, and hygiene.
