About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Home Bargains. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and upholding our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain store appearance, and ensure efficient stock replenishment.
  • Operate cash handling equipment, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, maintaining store displays, and ensuring products are presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate, ranging from £9.00 to £11.88 per hour, depending on age.
  • Available contracted hours range from 16 to 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year, including bank and public holiday allowance, rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Experience of cash handling and working in a retail environment.
