Accounting Role
TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is working with a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants to find a skilled Accounts Assistant/Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and VAT, and be studying AAT or ACCA or be qualified by experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
  • Assisting with management accounts production
  • Personal taxation, corporate taxation, and VAT returns
  • General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees


Requirements
  • 1-5 years experience within an accountancy practice
  • Studying AAT/ACCA or qualified by experience
  • Hands-on experience of accounts, tax, and VAT preparation


Benefits
  • £25,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience and background, negotiable
