Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 per annum (plus 9% shift allowance)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Staff Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Surgical Inpatients team at a brand new £100 million, purpose-built private hospital in the UK.

The hospital is part of HCA Healthcare UK, a leading provider of healthcare services. We have a deep clinical infrastructure, equipment, and facilities to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse with exceptional skills and knowledge in Cardiothoracic surgery to assist in the provision of outstanding patient care within HCA Healthcare UK.

The ward is a multi-speciality surgical ward, including GI, Gynae, orthopaedics, breast, spinal, liver, etc. There is also an enhanced care unit with in-room cardiac monitoring and a state-of-the-art Intensive Care unit.

  • Experience working in a surgical inpatient setting
  • Proven experience in caring for patients following cardiac/thoracic surgery
  • Current nursing registration through the Nursing & Midwifery Council
  • Willingness to undertake relevant post-registration courses
  • Basic Life Support
  • Mentorship/Preceptorship of junior staff
