Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pastry techniques and methods, with a passion for innovation and creativity. As a Lead Pastry Artisan, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality desserts and pastries that meet our culinary standards. Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Collaborating with the Head Pastry Chef to develop new dessert concepts and recipes
  • Preparing and presenting pastries and desserts with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assisting in inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation
  • Training and mentoring junior pastry team members


Requirements


To be considered for this role, you must have:



  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel environment
  • Proficiency in pastry techniques and methods, with a strong foundation in Italian pastry traditions
  • Creativity and passion for innovation, demonstrated through the development of new dessert concepts and recipes
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the culinary team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a fast-paced restaurant environment
