About the Role

Meridian Business Support is seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Tester to join our client's team in Ipswich. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting MOT tests on light vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MOT tests on light vehicles to DVSA standards, accurately recording results and inputting data into the DVSA computer system.
  • Fitting products specified by the company to customer vehicles and providing ancillary services as required.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the centre and its equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Increasing sales of products and services offered by the company, in accordance with procedures.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, and complying with reasonable instructions from management.
Requirements
  • A valid MOT Tester licence issued by the DVSA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.
  • A flexible approach to tasks and the ability to manage workload effectively.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
