We're recruiting an electrically qualified Service Technician to join our team in Lancashire. This role reports to the Operations Manager and is part of our Industrial Service department, which offers maintenance and service solutions for all crane brands.

As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading our customers' lifting equipment. Your work will be varied, and you'll have the opportunity to work on different types of equipment. We're the original service provider for Konecranes, Demag, and Morris equipment, so you'll have access to a wide range of products.

This role is based on a 39-hour week, Monday to Friday, with ample opportunity for paid overtime. You'll also receive paid travel time to and from your first job of the day.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues
  • Complete documentation through your mobile device

What We're Looking For:

  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent, with conversance in electrical engineering disciplines
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Experience in maintaining or repairing cranes or industrial equipment
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Personable, with regular customer contact
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights
  • Willingness to work extra hours, with paid overtime
  • Current driving license
  • Willingness to work on the On-Call Rota, with enhanced premium
