About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Fitter to join our team at ARM. As an Aircraft Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring that tasks are completed to the required standards by working from engineering instructions and understanding Aircraft Drawings. In addition to general tasks, you will be required to obtain 1st party certification following successful completion of relevant courses and may need to work in confined spaces, including tank work, which involves restricted and physically demanding wing access and egress through oval shaped manholes. To excel in this role, you will need to possess an Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship, with recognized qualifications, as well as experience working at heights and within confined spaces. Your ability to continuously improve processes and adapt to new ways of working will be crucial in driving success in this position. Furthermore, your commitment to maintaining Health and Safety standards will ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
