Cybersecurity Specialist

At Sun Life, we are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing network penetration testing, web and mobile application security assessments, and source code reviews. Additionally, you will manage and maintain a state-of-the-art command-and-control (C2) red team cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform network penetration testing, web and mobile application security assessments, and source code reviews.
• Manage and maintain a state-of-the-art command-and-control (C2) red team cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, Digital Ocean).

Requirements:

• 5-7 years' experience in an offensive security / penetration testing role.
• University degree in computer science, computer engineering or computer security.
• Industry certifications (OSCP/SANS/CEH/CISSP, CPTS) are a strong asset.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with creative solutions.
• Understand operating systems (OS), network protocols, application configuration with excellent report-writing skills.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
