Job Title: Teacher of EAL

At Inspired Education Group, we are seeking an exceptional Teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL) to join our team at Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR). As a pioneering practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive EAL lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students at various proficiency levels and ages.
  • Collaborate with the Head of EAL and assistants to provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • Work closely with mainstream subject teachers to promote language integration and support EAL students in accessing the curriculum.
  • Assess student language proficiency and progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
  • Coordinate with admissions to assess the language needs of prospective students and facilitate their smooth transition into the school.
  • Partner with external agencies and community organizations to provide additional support services for EAL students and families.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience delivering either UK National Curriculum or Cambridge Primary and/or Moroccan Curriculum.
  • Confidence in the use of ICT in teaching.
  • High expectations and aspirations for all students.
  • A commitment to the overall development of young people.
  • An open-minded approach to their work, willing to learn and develop.
  • A demonstrable love for what they do and a proven track record.
