Finance Director Opportunity

We are partnering with a family-owned manufacturing business in Cheshire to find a Finance Director to join their Senior Leadership Team.

As the Finance Director, you will work closely with the SLT and board to execute the commercial strategy and drive growth.

You will contribute to decision-making and strategy, using high-quality reporting and data to inform key decisions, evaluate new opportunities, ensure legal compliance, and oversee day-to-day finance operations.

The company prioritizes its people and offers a supportive environment.

You will develop and execute medium to long-term plans to enhance business profitability in collaboration with key stakeholders and business change projects.

  • Analyse financial data in manufacturing, supply chain, product costing, pricing, and review commercial contracts.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, providing financial insights and guidance to support strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of retrospective numbers for the board, management, and statutory accounts.
  • Maintain the credit policy and oversee cash flow reporting, assess credit limits, and risks for customers and suppliers.
  • Enhance financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Finance function processes.

Requirements include:

  • Qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA accounting.
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand business drivers.
