We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Emergency Department team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of patients through our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the coordination of patient flow through the Emergency Department, liaising with staff, multidisciplinary teams, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including notes and transfers.
- Facilitate transfers within the hospital and to other healthcare facilities, as needed.
- Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and patients.
- Use computer systems to accurately record and update patient information.
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
- Experience working with members of the general public and using computer systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, with a positive approach to change.
