About the Role

As a Senior Podiatrist - Offender Health Specialist at TOTALLY, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality podiatric care to patients within HMP settings. You will work closely with the healthcare team to assess and treat patients, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage your clinical caseload, including waiting lists, in partnership with the HMP site
• Maintain professional standards and comply with all relevant policies and procedures
• Provide specialist advice, teaching, and training to other members of the multidisciplinary team as required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Be professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of your work, including patient management
• Assess capacity, gain informed consent, and work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity
• Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, formulate individualized management plans, and deliver a range of podiatric treatments

Professional Development

• Maintain your clinical professional development by staying up-to-date with new trends and developments
• Participate in the CPD training program, delivering presentations and training sessions, and attending external courses and practicing reflective practice
• Measure and evaluate your work, using evidence-based practice projects, audit, and outcome measures
