Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Air Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for conducting thorough examinations and testing of local exhaust ventilation systems at customer locations across the South of England.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in performing COSHH field-based engineering roles, with a strong understanding of air system flows, compressors, and face fit testing. You will be required to maintain up-to-date knowledge on all aspects of LEV testing, BAQ testing, and face fit testing.

You will work independently, following scheduled planned routes, and ensure all required equipment is prepared prior to traveling. Your role will involve visiting customer premises, carrying out comprehensive testing examinations, and providing evidence of all work carried out via the sign-off process.

Key Requirements
  • P601 in Thorough Examination and Testing of Local Exhaust Ventilations
  • Good knowledge of Air systems flows / compressors
  • Face Fit Testing qualification (not Desirable)
  • ICT Skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) and ability to use an IPAD to input data for the creation of quality reports
  • Ability to be diligent with procedures, record-keeping, and accuracy of information
  • Engineering Industry Experience
  • Completion of a recognised Apprenticeship/IOSHH/HNC/IPAF/PSMA (Desirable)
  • A professional manner, be organised and have good timekeeping
  • The ability to develop positive relationships with customers, a customer-facing role, attending customer locations and representing the Company to a high standard
  • Driving License for a minimum of 5 years
