We are seeking a skilled and passionate Design and Technology Teacher to join our team at a thriving secondary school in Leicester. This full-time position offers a competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale, providing a stable and secure foundation for a successful teaching career.

As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students. Your expertise in D&T will enable you to create engaging, practical, and hands-on lessons that foster creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. You will work closely with colleagues to develop curriculum plans, resources, and assessments that meet national standards and promote student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that align with national curriculum standards, leveraging your expertise in D&T to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
2. Support student growth by developing their design and technical abilities, preparing them for further study or career pathways in D&T and related fields.
3. Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement and well-being.
