Legionella Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team at SMS Environmental. As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our customers and the public by identifying and mitigating the risks associated with Legionella bacteria in water systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of water systems to identify potential Legionella risks
- Develop and implement effective control measures to mitigate Legionella risks
- Collaborate with our internal Quality Control/Assurance team to ensure delivery of related documentation to regulatory standards
- Compile accurate schematic diagrams of domestic water systems
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on Legionella risk management
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the water hygiene industry and/or conducting risk assessments
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulatory legislation and practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (Enhanced DBS check)
