About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Event Coordinator to join our team at Visit, Inc. in Newbury, UK. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of our upcoming in-person events, ensuring a high-quality customer experience, and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage event preparation, including coordinating with corporate partners, nonprofit organizations, and venue staff.
  2. Take ownership of in-person events, ensuring seamless execution and problem-solving.
  3. Align roles and responsibilities with onsite teams, including event hosts, nonprofit organizations, and corporate partners.
  4. Manage check-in processes and ensure timely communication with the events team.
  5. Escalate issues to the events team as needed and provide regular updates throughout the event.
  6. Break down after the event, cleaning the site and repackaging materials for shipping.

Requirements:

  1. Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
  2. Schedule flexibility with availability to work on a contract per-event basis.
  3. Experience in complex, large-scale events and smaller executive-level intimate events.
  4. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  5. Willingness to travel to various areas of the local region.
  6. Able to wear many hats and take on varied tasks and projects.
