Corporate Event Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Event Coordinator to join our team at Visit, Inc. in Newbury, UK. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of our upcoming in-person events, ensuring a high-quality customer experience, and building strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage event preparation, including coordinating with corporate partners, nonprofit organizations, and venue staff.
- Take ownership of in-person events, ensuring seamless execution and problem-solving.
- Align roles and responsibilities with onsite teams, including event hosts, nonprofit organizations, and corporate partners.
- Manage check-in processes and ensure timely communication with the events team.
- Escalate issues to the events team as needed and provide regular updates throughout the event.
- Break down after the event, cleaning the site and repackaging materials for shipping.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
- Schedule flexibility with availability to work on a contract per-event basis.
- Experience in complex, large-scale events and smaller executive-level intimate events.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Willingness to travel to various areas of the local region.
- Able to wear many hats and take on varied tasks and projects.
