About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at GreenSquareAccord. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our public open spaces, including parks, playing fields, and landscaped areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake grounds maintenance work, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, and litter picking.
  • Operate powered hand tools and light plant equipment, such as ride-on mowers.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with current health and safety legislation and in accordance with GreenSquareAccord's Health and Safety policy.

Requirements

  • Hold a good standard of education, including GCSE or equivalent at Grade C and above, including Maths and English.
  • Have a City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Brush-cutters, Strimmers, Blowers, Mowers, and Hedge Cutters (desirable).
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of good customer care and amenity horticultural operations.
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence, as a van share is provided.
