We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Conductor to join our team at Great Western Railway. As a Conductor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers, while also providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a world-class customer experience by providing information, assistance, and a safe journey to our passengers.
- Manage the safety and operational activities of the train, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Check and sell tickets, providing information and assistance as required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and pleasant environment on board the train.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a transportation or hospitality environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Basic knowledge of railway operations and safety procedures.
