The Role

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our accounts team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, recording notes, and providing information to clients on outstanding debts. You will also be responsible for daily bank reconciliations, cash allocation, and bespoke reporting packs for key clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of client accounts
  • Record all notes and provide information to clients on outstanding debts, agreeing on payment plans as needed
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash allocation to ensure accurate financial records
  • Deliver bespoke reporting packs for key clients, providing valuable insights into their financial performance
  • Build strong internal relationships to resolve and escalate queries efficiently
  • Contribute to team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Follow through on the debt collection process when required, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding debts
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the team

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Credit Control or a related field
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Motivation and a strong work ethic
