Data and Systems Manager for Life Sciences

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Data and Systems Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and maintaining our internal data and reporting systems. They will leverage analytics tools to generate actionable insights for key stakeholders and use multiple data streams and systems to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage data warehouse services to consolidate data across the organisation.
- Map internal data and reporting requirements and adopt a visualisation tool such as Power BI.
- Drive continuous improvement of existing ERP and CRM systems.
- Take on our data visualisation journey focused on data process improvements, review and development of Reporting (ideally via Power BI).
- Cleansing and auditing data to ensure it is fit for use.
- Create and maintain Power BI Reports to meet wide ranging business requirements at all levels.
- Utilising Microsoft technologies to capture and manipulate data.
- Supporting and training the sales & leadership team on their data journey.
- Create & provide data analytics reporting across our systems & applications.
- Be the main point of contact for our external systems providers and manage these relationships.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and manage data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Implement processes to reduce risk and create cost efficiencies.
- Lead on and implement any system changes.
- Proven experience with reporting, systems management, and data analysis.
- A working knowledge of data warehousing and visualisation or business intelligence platforms such as Power BI.
- A working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems, ideally Sage Intaact, Vincere and Hubspot.
- Experience of selecting outsource partnerships for non-core support or difficult to recruit expertise.
- An ability to identify software needs.
- Knowledge of architecture processes and performance reports of operating systems.
- Solid experience working in a multinational environment, comfortable working with global team, including off-hours meetings or work to accommodate time zone differences.
- Broad working knowledge of IT systems & applications, contract agreements, and project management methodology.
Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum. Location: City of London.
