Job Title: HGV Class C+E Driver

Job Description:

Pertemps TM has an exciting opportunity for a Class C+E HGV Driver to join our team. As a Class C+E HGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting products to retail stores from our national distribution centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global leader in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trunking work to regional distribution centres
  • No handballing or lifting required
  • Opening back doors
  • Ensuring a safe and secure driving environment
  • Completing daily delivery paperwork and log sheets
  • Working on a variety of shifts, including earlies, afters, and nights

Requirements:

  • Hold a LGV C+E licence with a minimum of 6 months driving experience
  • A driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and free of endorsements such as DD's, DR's or IN10s
  • Possession of an OPS35 (DHL) assessment is desirable but not essential

Salary and Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday rates: Days - £17.54ph, Nights - £18.62ph
  • Saturday rates: £18.62ph (based on a minimum of 8hrs)
  • Sunday rates: £22.62ph (based on a minimum of 8hrs)
  • Break deductions of 45 minutes taken after anything worked over 8 hours

Additional Benefits:

  • Holiday pay based on 2 days a month on a 40hr week
  • Optional pension scheme
  • Statutory sick pay (SSP) after a certain period of working time
