Cypress Human Capital Management, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of financial tasks, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and budget variance reports.
- Account Reconciliations: Perform general accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.
- Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and support to management, including financial modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis.
- Financial Controls: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement robust financial controls, including internal controls and financial reporting.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee sales and use tax reporting, compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory costing processes, ensuring accuracy and developing strategies for improvement.
- Excel Skills: Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
- Process Improvement: Lead efforts to improve and streamline accounting processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
- System Maintenance: Partner with software vendors to maintain and optimize accounting systems, recommending updates as needed.
- Special Projects: Support the Controller with special projects, financial analysis, and other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting.
- Skills: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
- Software: Proficiency with accounting software.
Compensation:
$65,000-$75,000 base salary
