Fire and Security Field Service and Installation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Field Service and Installation Engineer to join our team in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining various intruder, CCTV, and Fire and Access Control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and maintaining various intruder, CCTV, and Fire and Access Control systems.
  • Demonstrating systems for customers and explaining details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
  • Carrying out corrective and preventative maintenance of Fire alarm systems and all other security systems.
  • Understanding the clients' needs and fulfilling all jobs required.
  • Maintaining Fire & Security systems in line with current standards and customer requirements.
  • Responding to demand service calls on all types of Fire and Security systems.
  • Updating documentation including site schematics/drawings (if applicable).
  • Carrying out annual service visits and responding to incoming faults raised.
  • Applying updates and accurate descriptions of works completed via SIMPRO to inform office of progress. Securing signatures from client of completed works.
Requirements:
  • Experience of front-line customer service will be preferential.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.
  • You must be flexible to travel and be part of an on-call rota.
  • Due to the nature of the Fire & Security industry and specific contracts, if successful, you will need to pass several background checks including a credit check, five-year referencing history and DBS check. All offers will be subject to successful completion of these background checks.
