Job Summary
FitzRoy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities with all aspects of daily life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living tasks such as showering and bathing.
- Support individuals to participate in activities and engage with their community.
- Assist with medication administration and other healthcare-related tasks.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support is provided.
Requirements
- A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to use our vehicles to transport individuals to activities and appointments.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide high-quality care and support.
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.85 per hour (weekdays) and £13.03 per hour (weekends).
- Overtime pay at a rate of £2.50 per hour.
- Time and a half or double time for public holidays.
- 30 days annual leave.
