Job Description

This is a long-term freelance role for a Project Manager to oversee a large-scale industrial project in the Northampton area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the construction works run to a strict programme and maintaining quality control procedures.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Director to manage the day-to-day activities of our industrial construction site. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a main contractor and hold relevant certifications such as SMSTS and CITB level 3 Safety Course.

  • Manage site operations, including health and safety, quality, environmental, and cost/value of operations;
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Lead and motivate a team of subordinates to achieve project goals.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Detailed knowledge of building regulations;
  • Experience of a similar role working for a main contractor;
  • SMSTS certification;
  • CITB level 3 Safety Course;
  • CSCS Card – Appropriate level;
  • Strong leadership and management skills;
  • Commercial and financial awareness;
