Senior Category Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Buyer to join our Procurement team at Yodel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing third-party contracts and suppliers, with a focus on delivering operational efficiencies and cost savings.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement strategies and be able to develop and implement category plans that align with our business objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and will be responsible for managing multiple, high-value contracts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing category strategies to drive best value
- Managing third-party contracts and suppliers
- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience in managing complex contracts and working with suppliers. You will be commercially savvy and able to project manage multiple projects simultaneously. MCIPS is desirable, but not essential.
