Join Our Team as a Commercial Lawyer

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Brodies. As a key member of our Oil and Gas section, you will work closely with our experienced partners to advise clients on a range of commercial and energy-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist on upstream Operator and Service Sector work, including advising on field development agreements and diligence aspects of M&A transactions.
  • Advise service sector clients on contractual issues related to specialist service sector contracts, including drilling, seismic, offshore construction, and EPCs.
  • Keep up to date with legal and industry developments, and assist the Oil and Gas team in staying informed.
  • Protect information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference at all times.
Requirements:
  • Team player with excellent writing skills and a good grounding in legal knowledge.
  • Ability to take pride in quality of work and take responsibility for keeping legal and sector knowledge up to date.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
