Transformative IT Solution Architect Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Solution Architect Expert to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our Knowledge & Design tribe, you will play a critical role in shaping our digital transformation strategy and driving innovation across our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and designing technology solutions that optimize our products and services for rapid innovation, while ensuring the security and resilience of our systems. You will work closely with our development teams to design and implement scalable and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of our business.

As a seasoned IT Solution Architect Expert, you will bring a deep understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as expertise in containerization and orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems concepts. You will also have a strong track record of collaboration and communication, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and design technology solutions that optimize our products and services for rapid innovation
  • Work closely with development teams to design and implement scalable and sustainable solutions
  • Bring a deep understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems concepts
  • Strong track record of collaboration and communication
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience designing and implementing business-critical applications
  • Deep exposure to LLM based business applications (preferred)
  • IT Architect certification: AWS Certified Solution Architect required, Open Group certification (e.g., TOGAF Certified, Certified Architect Master) preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a software developer, preferably in multitenant/SaaS projects
  • Work experience as a Solutions Architect in at least one project
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges
  • Experience in conducting technical assessments and feasibility studies
What You'll Work With
The IT Solution Architect Expert will work closely with our development teams and other solution architects within and outside of the Knowledge & Design tribe. Most contacts will be distributed across BCG's core hub locations Delhi, Munich, and Boston. A large part of the work will be performed virtually. The role reports directly to the Solution Architecture Chapter Lead located in Boston, USA.
