Role Overview
As a key member of the International Recruitment Team at Edinburgh Napier University, the Global Partnership Director will lead and manage international student recruitment and institutional partnerships from key regions for the university. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic development and operational management of the University's international recruitment activities in the Africa, Middle East and South Asia region, ensuring alignment with institutional targets.

Salary Details
The estimated salary range for this position is £45,163 - £56,921 per annum. The compensation package includes nationally agreed pay increases each year and a generous pension scheme with employer contribution of 17.6%.

About the Job
The Global Partnership Director will play a pivotal role in representing the University on visits overseas, targeting recruitment and partnership markets, and promoting Edinburgh Napier through education fairs and targeted visits. This individual will develop and manage relationships with our network of partner universities, agents, sponsors, and external stakeholders across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic development and operational management of the University's international recruitment activities in the Africa, Middle East and South Asia region.
  • Represent the University on visits overseas, targeting recruitment and partnership markets.
  • Develop and manage relationships with partner universities, agents, sponsors, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and line management to a regional team of staff based in the UK and overseas.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience of international student recruitment.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage international partnerships.
  • Experience of managing budgets and line management.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-working skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and a network of contacts.
