Certification Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a long-term temporary assignment working for one of our key clients based in the UK.
Purpose of the RoleThe Certification Engineer is responsible for ensuring products meet regulatory and safety standards of relevant countries. The role involves liaising with laboratories on regulatory submissions, communicating with suppliers and staff members of all levels, and educating/guiding personnel and customers about compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Educated to degree level; ideally in Quality, Product Design, Materials, or Engineering
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Ideally with SAP experience
- Keen attention to detail is a priority within this role
Whilst experience within Engineering/Plumbing would be ideal, our client is open to graduates who have a desire to step into this arena.
Requirements- Experience in compliance and conformity within an industrial environment or laboratory
- Experience in product certification and legislations such as CE, REACH, ROSH, SCIP
- Manufacturing experience, ideally within injection moulding, machining, and Assembly
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and product specifications
- Internal and external audit knowledge is desired
