Job OverviewThis entry-level position in our accounts department offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting within an educational environment. As an Accounts Trainee, you will be part of a supportive team that values diversity, inclusivity, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable.
- Complete bank reconciliations and enter financial transactions into our internal databases.
- Support the accounts team with reviewing and processing reimbursements and participating in monthly/yearly closings.
- Learn about various accounting software and databases, and assist with other accounting projects as needed.
- Hunger to learn and a strong desire to pursue a career in accounts or finance.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills, excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a positive attitude towards taking on new challenges.
