Electronics Installations Designer

Andretti Cadillac is seeking an Electronics Installations Designer to join our team at the Silverstone Facility. As a key member of our electronics team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical and electronic system installations for our racing cars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical installations, including harness routing and packaging of electronic components.
  • Contribute to the design of electrical harnesses and associated components.
  • Generate technical documentation to support harness manufacture, car assembly, and operation.
  • Support the development of off-car systems, internal test facilities, and rigs.
  • Resolve electronic system faults and ensure optimal system performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in an engineering subject or similar.
  • Extensive experience in electrical installation design, preferably using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
  • Proficiency in electrical schematic design packages, such as Zuken E3 or VeSys Electrical.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, systems, and integration.
  • Ability to plan and manage own workloads, with clear and concise communication.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Positive contribution to an open and inclusive culture.
