About the Job

GTD Healthcare seeks a skilled Accounting Assistant Manager to support our Business Services Team in North West England.

This role offers the chance to work in a forward-thinking organisation, delivering exceptional financial services to our patients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely submission and authorisation.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoice documentation and attachments prior to processing payments.
  • Foster positive relationships with suppliers and address initial queries regarding financial matters.
  • Collaborate with budget holders to resolve financial issues, utilising expertise to address problems and find solutions.
  • Oversee the petty cash system across multiple GTD locations, completing regular reconciliations.
  • Support audits, credit control procedures, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Participate in end-of-period procedures, including annual statutory audits.

Job Requirements:
  • At least one year of finance-related experience;
  • Familiarity with Sage 200 or similar computerised general ledgers;
  • Purchase Ledger Reconciliation expertise;
  • Understanding of financial control systems.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
