North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a talented Anaesthetics Specialist to join our team at West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven. As a respected Clinical Lead in Anaesthetics, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow within our esteemed healthcare institution.

This position comes with a competitive salary of £120,000 - £170,000 per annum, offering a 10% recruitment premia incentive for up to 4 years. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Anaesthetics, with valid registration with the General Medical Council and completed Higher Specialist Training or equivalent competency.

The successful applicant will be expected to work across various anaesthetic areas, developing their interests and expertise. There will be an expectation of working at both hospital sites, promoting greater experience and versatility. If sufficient interest is received, this post may close earlier than the specified closing date.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid GMC registration
  • Completed HST in Anaesthetics or equivalent competency
  • Daytime and/or on-call experience in ICU and maternity during the last 2 years (ST6-7 or consultant level)
