Job Summary:
A multinational automatic door manufacturer is seeking to expand its engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic doors and industrial doors. The role will involve fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment, as well as adhering to industry standards such as BS EN 16005 and DHF.
Key Responsibilities:
• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing automatic doors and industrial doors
• Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment
• Adhering to industry standards such as BS EN 16005 and DHF
• Providing customers with advice and identifying the best solution to their individual requirement
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience working for an EN 16005 recognised automatic door company, experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic door systems, a valid EN 16005 certificate, a clean driving license, and a CSCS Card.
Benefits:
The remuneration package includes an hourly rate up to £19.50 per hour depending on experience and location, top earners bringing in over £70,000 per annum, home-based, door to door pay, premium overtime rates at 1.5 x after 9.5 hours per day, travel time is considered overtime, Saturdays paid at 1.5, Sundays paid at 2.0, commission scheme, all power tools and hand tools provided, brand new professionally racked company van - personal use optional, mobile phone, and tablet.
Callouts:
The successful candidate will be required to participate in a callout system, with 15 per day when on call plus £15 additional payment per call plus 3 hours double time minimum. If you work over 3 hours the additional hours are paid at double time. Out of hours call outs will be paid at £150 per call if taken when not on call.
Training:
Engineers will be put through DHF Gate Diploma, DHF Door Diploma, and IPAF. The company is committed to providing ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure the successful candidate remains up to date with industry standards and best practices.
