Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at The People Co. in Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on the role of Food Safety Management Lead, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of our food safety management system.

In this position, you will work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective quality control procedures to ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and optimize processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues on food safety and quality management best practices.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a Food Science related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in quality management within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working in high-risk/high-care environments and implementing food safety management systems compliant with GFSI standards (e.g., BRC).
  • Extensive knowledge of auditing, quality standards, and systems, as well as quality management techniques such as HACCP and process control.
