Job Title: Meter Reader

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meter Reader to join our team. As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for collecting data from gas, electricity, and water meters for both commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect data from domestic, commercial, and industrial sites for Water, Gas, and Electric Meters.
  • Carry out visual inspections of associated metering equipment.
  • Charge Point Surveys.
  • Drive and motivation to work in an independent role.
  • Friendly personality with a professional approach to work.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate.
  • Flexible working hours with a choice of 40, 42, or 45 hours per week.
  • Average earnings of £27,000 to £30,000 per year, with additional bonuses.
  • Opportunities for progression and promotion.
  • Up to 28 days holiday per year.

  • Full training provided.
Requirements:
  • Manual UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Physically fit, with the ability to walk 5-7 miles per day.
  • Happy to work in all weather conditions.
  • Clear DBS check.
  • Credit Report check.
  • Previous Customer Service experience (preferred but not essential).
