Job Title: Stock & Purchasing Controller

Overview:
  • This challenging position demands a high level of initiative, attention to detail, pro-activeness and communication skills.

The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for achieving the high standards of stock control and ensuring the completion of the stock control daily workload. The role involves efficient and effective management of stock control duties, adhering to company systems and procedures for stock control and management using Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Salary:
  • An estimated salary range is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
Job Description:Responsibilities:
  • Achieve all site performance targets to agreed deadlines.
  • General administration of stock.
  • Assisting in company projects when required.
Training:
  • Training in all aspects of the Stock Control department will be given.
  • Ensure that any supplier quality issues are reported and dealt with correctly as per procedures.
Quality:
  • Ensure ownership and accountability for the quality of output.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of safety within the department as per the Health and Safety Manual, Training Manuals and Risk Assessments.
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all records from within the department.
Housekeeping:
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the department.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring previous experience of working in a warehouse or Stock Control environment, a good standard of education specifically in Maths & English, and a working knowledge of Windows based software including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience of working in a warehouse or Stock Control environment.
  • A good standard of education specifically in Maths & English.
  • A working knowledge of Windows based software including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Prior experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar system is preferred.
