Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our supply chain team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and stock loaded into trailers against drivers' paperwork.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
  • Monitor and maintain high levels of stock accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve daily targets.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide training and support to warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or supply chain management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre. The successful candidate will be required to work a 5-day week, with a 37.5 hour working week, plus daily 30-minute unpaid break. The working environment is chilled.
