Job Title: ASD/ADHD Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

Parker Smith Inclusion is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in an outstanding school in Thurrock.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, focusing on ASD and ADHD needs.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to implement tailored educational plans, ensuring each student accesses the curriculum in a way that suits them best.
  • Assist students with sensory processing difficulties, helping them manage their emotions and behavior during the school day.
  • Help students develop social and communication skills, encouraging positive interactions with their peers and building confidence in their abilities.
  • Monitor progress and work closely with the SENCO to ensure all strategies and interventions are working effectively.

Role Details:

  • Location: Thurrock
  • Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day (PAYE)
