Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team at Apex Roofing South West Ltd. As a key member of our roofing crew, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.

About the Role:

• Install roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, and flat roofs, according to specifications and schematics.
• Repair and replace damaged roofs, ensuring proper sealing and waterproofing.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete roofing tasks.
• Fabricate components as needed for roof installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other trades to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of roofing materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for roofing projects.
• Skills in masonry work may be beneficial for certain roofing applications.
• Familiarity with carpentry principles related to roofing structures is an advantage.
• Competence in welding or plumbing can enhance versatility on the job site.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
