You will also have deep technical accounting expertise, with the ability to provide strategic challenge where necessary.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the preparation and delivery of detailed financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other regulatory standards.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.
  • Leading the relationship with external auditors, ensuring an efficient and effective audit process.
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and managing audit-related activities.

  • Managing and mitigating financial reporting risks at a strategic level.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA) with extensive post-qualification experience.
  • Strong academic background or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and influencing skills at the executive level.
  • Deep technical accounting expertise, with the ability to provide strategic challenge where necessary.
  • Resilient, decisive, and adept at navigating complex financial environments.
