About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Manager to join our team at Vistry Group, a leading provider of affordable mixed-tenure homes. As a key member of our Land and Development team, you will play a crucial role in securing land opportunities to meet our business requirements and expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and acquire residential land within the East Midlands region, working closely with land agents and owners to identify suitable opportunities.
  • Negotiate and manage complex, multi-party legal agreements to ensure successful land acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain regular contact with key stakeholders, including land agents, owners, and local planning authorities.
  • Present to landowners and agents on a formal and informal basis, promoting our business and securing land opportunities.
  • Procure and review technical, legal, and development information during the bid preparation process.
  • Prepare and submit Land Approval Packs and obtain authority to acquire sites in line with Company policies and protocols.
Requirements
  • Educated to a minimum of Degree standard (on a relevant course) or with suitable alternative experience.
  • Computer literate and able to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to a good standard.
  • Track record of successfully acquiring residential land within the East Midlands.
  • Experience negotiating and managing through to completion complex, multi-party legal agreements.
  • Experience of working in a PLC housebuilder.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional manner, commensurate with delivering business development and promoting the Company.
