About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Northgate Vehicle Hire in Bolton. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are safe and compliant with regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair faults using a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • A salary of £41,940 OTE (basic £36k pa + £2,400 pa bonus OTE + Overtime).
  • Weekly hours: 42.5 hours / Day Shifts Only. As and when required overtime is available and this is paid at time and half.
